Biography:

The Silver Surfer, also known as Norrin Radd, first appeared in *Fantastic Four* #48 (March 1966). He is a humanoid alien from the planet Zenn-La. To save his planet from the world-devouring Galactus, Norrin Radd volunteered to become his herald, imbued with the Power Cosmic.

This transformation granted him incredible power, a silver appearance, and the ability to travel through space on a surfboard-like craft. As Galactus's herald, the Silver Surfer searched for planets for his master to consume.

Eventually, the Surfer rebelled against Galactus after witnessing the destruction his hunger caused and developed a sense of morality. He became a hero, dedicated to protecting the innocent and fighting against cosmic threats. The Surfer is known for his speed, power, and his philosophical ponderings on the nature of good and evil.
